About the role

Ensemble Schools is looking for an experienced, professional substitute piano instructor to teach part‑time at Melody Academy of Music locations in Fremont, Cupertino, and Palo Alto.

Key responsibilities

Provide private piano lessons and, when possible, teach other instruments.
Fill in for regular teachers as needed, covering weekday afternoons/evenings.
Commute between multiple Bay Area locations and maintain punctuality.

Required profile

Degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
Demonstrated love of teaching and experience with young musicians.
Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.

Required skills

Proficient piano instruction for students of various ages and skill levels.
Ability to teach additional instruments is preferred.
