Substance Use Professional (SUDP)

About the role

The Cascade Evaluation and Treatment Center seeks a Substance Use Disorder Professional to join its Crisis Relief Team. You will manage care for adults in crisis, conduct assessments, and coordinate detox services within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Substance Use Disorder assessments using ASAM criteria and other tools.
• Develop and implement individualized, person‑centered treatment plans and brief interventions.
• Coordinate care, referrals, and discharge planning with internal staff and external providers.
• Document all activities in the Electronic Health Record and ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and legal standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training.

Required profile

• Associate degree in human services or related field (bachelor’s preferred).
• Current Washington State Department of Health SUDP credential.
• Working knowledge of ASAM Patient Placement Criteria.
• Ability to pass Washington State Patrol background check and Violence Prevention Training.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and professional representation skills.
