About the role

The Student Nurse PRN Nursing Support position at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus offers nursing students hands‑on patient care experience while they continue their education. Working on a variable PRN schedule, you will support clinical teams across acute‑care units and gain mentorship from experienced registered nurses.

Key responsibilities

Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs, weight, personal care, and activities of daily living.
Perform patient transfers, transport, pulse oximetry, point‑of‑care testing, dressing changes, and apply/remove monitoring devices.
Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to an RN.
Assist in maintaining clean and orderly patient rooms.

Required profile

High School Diploma or GED.
Current enrollment in an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program.
Completion of at least one acute‑care clinical rotation.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
Ability to lift and move patients, stand and walk for extended periods.
