About the role
The Student Intern position in Disbursement Services supports the university’s finance operations, focusing on accounts payable, travel, and card services. This is a paid, on‑campus internship offering $17.00 per hour and provides practical experience for students pursuing finance or business studies.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable processing and documentation.
- Support travel services, including itinerary coordination and expense tracking.
- Handle card services tasks such as issuance and reconciliation.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Disbursement Services team.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled at Prairie View A&M University with at least nine graduate or six undergraduate credit hours for the term.
- Maintain good academic standing (minimum 2.0 GPA).
- Eligible to work on campus during the summer term (minimum three undergraduate credit hours) or preregistered for fall/spring terms.
- No prior experience required.
