Student Ambassador - Leasing & Resident Relations

About the role

Yugo, a global student housing company, is hiring a Student Ambassador for its Flagstaff Central community. Reporting to the General Manager, the role covers leasing and marketing and resident relations, and requires availability of 20-25 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Greet prospective clients, give property tours and present the features and benefits of the apartments.
• Complete applications, collect deposits and process lease paperwork for move-ins and move-outs.
• Answer phone calls and in-person inquiries, follow up with prospects and prepare applications for approval.
• Make apartments ready for move-in, orient new residents and assist with lease renewals.
• Accept rental payments and support marketing and sales efforts.
• Take part in weekly leasing meetings, update reports and monitor market conditions.
• Manage service requests, plan resident events and keep commission records accurate.
• Keep the office and model apartments clean and open on schedule, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.

Required profile

• Some experience in an administrative role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, oral and in writing.
• Proactive, organized and able to handle several tasks at once.
• Resilient, adaptable and culturally aware.
• Able to communicate with the General Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Availability for evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Use of online systems and databases.

• Pay of $18.35-$18.90 per hour.
