Structures Engineer – Hypersonic Air Vehicles

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Structures Engineer to design, analyze, and develop lightweight structural systems for next‑generation hypersonic air vehicle platforms. The role involves working on high‑temperature, high‑speed environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop structural components and assemblies for hypersonic air vehicle platforms.
• Perform structural and thermal analyses to ensure integrity under extreme conditions.
• Support fabrication, integration, testing, and validation of structural components.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and participate in design reviews and trade studies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of aerospace or related industry experience.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Required skills

• Structural engineering principles and hand calculations.
• Composite materials and high‑temperature material selection.
• Structural design, analysis, testing, and fabrication.
• Proficiency with Siemens NX.
