Strategic Sourcing Lead

About the role

This position begins as a contract with the intention to convert to full‑time employment. The Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Professional will lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing strategies for complex technology goods and services, focusing on 3rd‑party expense management and category strategy for Global Technology Services and IT Management Services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research, develop sourcing strategies, set cost‑reduction targets, and create risk‑mitigation plans for categories such as FinOps, Cloud Engineering, Network Technologies and Collaboration Technology.
• Lead RFI, RFQ and RFP processes, evaluate supplier proposals on price, quality and delivery, and negotiate complex contract terms.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor performance against KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Analyze spend data, perform cost modeling and total cost of ownership analysis to identify savings opportunities.
• Communicate sourcing strategies and progress to internal stakeholders and senior management, managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• 7+ years of advanced strategic sourcing experience, preferably in technology‑focused procurement.
• Proven track record negotiating SaaS and cloud‑based enterprise applications at scale in a global environment.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience in spend analytics, financial modeling and cost‑optimization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
• Project management capability to lead complex sourcing initiatives from initiation to completion.
