Storekeeper II

About the role

The Storekeeper II works under general supervision to manage university mail and resale maintenance inventory. The role combines mailroom operations with inventory control, ensuring timely distribution, accurate record‑keeping, and secure handling of materials.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing university mail, affix postage, and maintain postage records.
• Distribute, collect, and route mail for defined campus routes.
• Receive, store, issue, pick‑up, and deliver resale maintenance inventory while maintaining accountability and security.
• Utilize AIM systems and follow procurement and purchasing policies to source required materials.
• Operate standard office equipment and postal service machines.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least two years of related work experience.
• Valid Class C driver’s license (or equivalent) with fewer than six points.
• Ability to lift and carry mail bags or boxes up to 70 lb, stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
• Willingness to work standard hours (Mon‑Fri, 7:30 AM‑4:00 PM) on‑site.

• Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment.
• Basic mathematics and effective oral/written communication.
