Store Manager - Tire and Auto Service

About the role

Monro, a family of automotive service and tire dealer brands, is hiring a Store Manager in St. Petersburg. The Store Manager gives daily leadership to the store, including General Service Technicians, Technicians, Guest Care Specialists and the Assistant Store Manager, and reports to the District Manager. The role covers sales, guest experience, team development and store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sales and technical teammates to deliver a consistent 5-star guest experience
• Help set and implement sales plans, promote products and services to guests and meet sales goals
• Train and develop teammates on shop operations and guest services, and oversee technicians and repairs
• Manage staffing: recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation and performance management
• Control expenses (payroll, utilities, maintenance, supplies) and manage inventory, including pulling tires and parts and stocking
• Audit courtesy inspections, schedule guest appointments and assign work by skill level
• Maintain the store to Monro standards and follow safety standards, including OSHA requirements

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a retail or sales environment
• Proven ability to manage and deliver financial results while controlling costs
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report
• Ability to work flexible hours, days, evenings, weekends and holidays, and up to 50 hours per week
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for long periods

• Pay of $55,000 to $65,000 depending on experience, plus bonuses, sales spiffs and contests
