Store Manager - South Park Mall

About the role

BoxLunch, a pop-culture themed food brand that donates a meal to Feeding America for every $10 spent, is looking for a Store Manager for its South Park Mall location in San Antonio. The manager leads the store in meeting sales targets, recruiting, developing people and managing performance, while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Make sure the store meets its sales plan and comparable sales goals
• Recruit, develop and retain a collaborative team
• Engage customers through social media, store web applications and clienteling
• Run an operationally sound business with clear structure, delegation and autonomy
• Watch shrink, loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules and other factors affecting the business
• Work with retail leadership and HQ on trends and customer feedback
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy
• Control supply ownership and spend, and adapt to new technologies
• Merchandise the store using planograms and launch promos on time
• Mentor staff through recognition and feedback

Required profile

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; a degree is an advantage
• Able to move around the store, merchandise products and pack and unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
• Open to reasonable accommodation
