Store Manager - Redondo Beach

About the role

Peet's Coffee is looking for a Store Manager in Redondo Beach to lead and inspire a team, delivering outstanding service, driving sales and achieving financial goals. The role involves running the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop, managing staff and keeping the business profitable.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team by fostering a culture of accountability, growth and high performance.
• Execute business plans, manage inventory and cash handling, and analyze reports to find growth and cost-control opportunities.
• Build a positive work environment through recognition, open communication and collaboration to support employee retention.
• Recruit, train and coach staff, giving ongoing feedback and performance management.
• Maintain high standards of coffee bar operations, including cleanliness, organization, product quality, staffing and compliance with safety and labor laws.
• Use Peet's tools to schedule and deploy staff to meet productivity, speed and service goals.
• Show sound judgment, change management, problem-solving and de-escalation skills in a fast-paced environment.

Required profile

• 3 years of management or supervisory experience in the service or food industry, or equivalent related experience and training.
• Open availability and ability to work 40 hours per week following management scheduling guidelines.
• Willingness to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.
• Able to comply with Peet's Employment of Minors policies and to supervise and work with minors.
• Legally eligible to work in the country and at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform various physical tasks during a shift.
