Steward – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Steward joins the Food & Beverage team at Four Seasons New Orleans, ensuring that all service areas maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the hotel's dining venues, banquet operations, and back‑of‑house kitchens.

Key responsibilities

• Operate dish machines to clean and sanitize china, glassware, and silverware.
• Maintain sanitation of major kitchen equipment, culinary stations, and food‑and‑beverage facilities.
• Clean, sanitize, and store pots, pans, and all kitchen utensils.
• Execute the silver polishing program according to hotel standards.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and supplies safely and in accordance with safety protocols.

Required profile

• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time‑management ability; capable of multitasking and adapting to a fast‑paced environment.
• Clear communication skills for collaboration with other departments and interaction with guests.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move up to 100 lb.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Experience operating commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation practices for kitchen environments.
• Familiarity with safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
