Station General Manager - Bradford

About the role

SkyWest Airlines, the largest independently owned regional airline, is hiring a Station General Manager for its Bradford, Pennsylvania station. The station serves Bradford and the surrounding area with daily flights to destinations across the country and the world. The GM leads a team of airline professionals to deliver an excellent customer experience while keeping the airline efficient, safe and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, guidance and motivation to all station personnel
• Oversee daily flights and operational efficiency
• Maintain effective communication with SkyWest departments, vendors, airport authorities and partner agencies
• Manage station budgets, accounting, inventory and training requirements
• Ensure compliance with SkyWest policies, partner operating standards and all safety and security rules and regulations

Required profile

• Prior management or supervisory experience in an airline's ground-handling operation
• High school diploma or GED; 18 years of age or older
• Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more consistently, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Willing to work early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Preferred: general knowledge of SkyWest's policies and procedures
