About the role

As a State and Local Tax Financial Services Senior Manager at PwC, you will guide financial‑services clients through complex tax environments, focusing on business restructuring, new tax legislation, and local tax developments. You will assess state and local tax burdens and design strategies that align with clients' business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead state and local tax projects for financial‑services clients, emphasizing restructuring and tax‑law adoption.
• Assess client tax burdens and recommend solutions that meet business goals and applicable tax regulations.
• Transform risk and compliance challenges into business advantages by aligning tax plans with corporate strategy.
• Manage issues related to unclaimed property, income and franchise tax, payroll and employment tax, credits and incentives, and indirect tax.
• Navigate complex, cross‑border engagements and coordinate diverse teams to deliver client‑focused outcomes.
• Foster open communication with teams and stakeholders to build trust and collaboration.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Professional credential such as CPA, Bar membership, or other tax/finance qualifications.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of multistate tax compliance and local tax regulations.
