STAT RN – 1:1 Tracheostomy & Ventilator Care

About the role

Join BAYADA as a STAT Registered Nurse providing one‑on‑one skilled nursing care for clients transitioning home after hospital discharge. You will focus on tracheostomy and ventilator management for a 4‑6 week admission period, delivering personalized care in the client’s home.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 12‑hour shifts caring for a single client, including assessments, monitoring, and documentation of doctors’ orders.
• Deliver hands‑on tracheostomy and ventilator care for infants, children, and adults.
• Travel to client homes, stay for the full shift, and ensure accurate record‑keeping of observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Clinical Managers to meet each client’s care plan requirements.

Required profile

• Valid New Jersey RN license in good standing and CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of RN experience with hands‑on tracheostomy and ventilator care.
• Willingness to work across Warren, Sussex, and Morris counties and cover at least two 12‑hour shifts per week plus one weekend per month.
• Ability to care for patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics, in private‑duty home or school settings.
