Starbucks Barista - Afternoon Evening Shift

About the role

Meijer is hiring a Starbucks Barista for afternoon and evening shifts in McCordsville. As a barista, you will create positive customer experiences and gain exposure to a range of retail tasks related to additional services, products and customer service offered by the store.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with their orders for a variety of Starbucks services
• Provide product suggestions and help customers with special orders
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products
• Respond to customer questions effectively and efficiently
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Build trusting relationships with customers to encourage return visits
• Stock product and product displays according to merchandising standards

Required profile

• Enjoys interacting with customers one-on-one
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Good listening and communication skills
• Maintains good eye contact and positive body language
• Able to stand for long periods and to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product

Required skills

• Comfortable using electronic bakery and deli equipment
