Staff Product Manager – Robot & Fleet Interfaces

About the role

Rhoda AI is building next‑generation generalist intelligent robots and needs a Product Manager to lead the digital interfaces that operators and customers use to manage those robots.

Key responsibilities

• Define product vision, roadmap and prioritisation for internal fleet management tools, teleoperation interfaces and customer‑facing HMIs.
• Gather workflow insights from customers, field teams and internal stakeholders and translate them into product decisions.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to iterate concepts into shippable scope while balancing design quality and pragmatic trade‑offs.
• Ship the first internal fleet management, teleoperation and robot UI products, ensuring scalability, localisation and configurable workflows.
• Write detailed user stories, functional specifications, error‑handling logic and testable acceptance criteria for engineering and QA.
• Define and track success metrics to reduce operator friction, errors and support load as deployments scale.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of product management experience (7+ years total experience) with a proven record of shipping complex, user‑facing digital interfaces.
• Hands‑on experience writing detailed requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Experience taking interfaces from design through development to launch in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Required skills

• Technical fluency with APIs, data models, state machines, latency considerations and backend architecture.
• Experience with real‑time, data‑dense, operationally critical software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
