Staff Physician – Urology (Outpatient)

About the role

The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking a Board‑certified or Board‑eligible Urologist to join its Clinical Urology Department as a Staff Physician. The role is primarily based in an outpatient clinic setting, with occasional coverage of ambulatory procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urology care to patients in an outpatient clinic.
• Perform selected outpatient procedures in an ambulatory setting as needed.
• Participate in surgical activities at University of Miami Hospital, Clinics, or affiliated hospitals.
• Document patient encounters using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, staff, and multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school (or foreign equivalent).
• Completed Urology residency.
• Licensed or eligible for a Florida medical license.
• Board‑certified or Board‑eligible in Urology.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system (preferred).
