Staff Physician – Diagnostic Radiology (Cardiothoracic/Thoracic/Abdominal)

About the role

The Department of Radiology at the Leonard Miller University of Miami School of Medicine seeks a full‑time Staff Physician to join its community radiology team. The role focuses on diagnostic imaging for cardiothoracic, thoracic and abdominal studies across multiple ambulatory care sites in northern Miami‑Dade and Broward counties.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret X‑ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound examinations for cardiothoracic, thoracic and abdominal imaging.
• Perform selected non‑invasive fluoroscopic procedures.
• Provide on‑site clinical consultations for patients in clinic.
• Participate in teaching residents, fellows and medical students (optional).
• Engage in clinical research, journal clubs and multidisciplinary conferences.

Required profile

• Board‑certified radiologist with a completed fellowship in abdominal and/or cardiothoracic imaging.
• Ability to interpret studies in both subspecialty areas.
• Full‑time availability to cover ambulatory care facilities in the designated region.
