Staff Pharmacist – Infusion & Long-Term Care

About the role

Red River Pharmacy Services is seeking a motivated, patient‑focused Staff Pharmacist to support its infusion and long‑term care operations in Tyler, Texas. The role involves dispensing, compounding, and providing clinical support for home infusion and long‑term care patients across East Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor patient medication therapies and provide clinical recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff regarding medication management.
• Oversee sterile and non‑sterile compounding as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare partners.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as required.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Support infusion therapy and long‑term care medication services.

Required profile

• Active Texas Pharmacist license.
• Infusion pharmacy experience preferred.
• Long‑term care pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and clinical skills.
• IV/sterile compounding knowledge preferred.
