Staff Frontend Engineer

About the role

Frame.io, an Adobe Company, is looking for an experienced Staff Frontend Engineer to help build and evolve its flagship web application. You will work within a cross‑functional product squad to deliver high‑impact features that enable creative professionals worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement fluid, high‑performance user interfaces for the flagship web product.
• Shape, prototype, demo and ship new features together with designers, product managers, QA, backend engineers and fellow frontend developers.
• Provide and receive technical feedback through pair programming and code reviews.
• Champion engineering excellence with a focus on performance, scalability, privacy, and security.
• Participate in on‑call and triage rotations to maintain service reliability.
• Receive mentorship from engineering managers and leads.

Required profile

• A passion for product design and creating pixel‑perfect, accessible interfaces.
• Proven experience building robust, performant web UIs at scale.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience handling complex application state (e.g., Apollo Client, Redux).
• Commitment to continuous learning and sharing knowledge.
• Ability to discuss and communicate abstract technical concepts clearly.
