Sr. RF Test Engineer

About the role

Reliable Robotics is developing safety‑enhancing aviation technology and needs a senior RF Test Engineer to join its Radar Engineering Team. You will work on the testing, calibration, and certification of next‑generation Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own engineering and production testing of digital, RF, and antenna circuit cards for the AESA radar.
• Develop and operate test and calibration equipment in collaboration with the radar hardware design team.
• Support radar system integration, lab testing, aircraft testing, data collection, and checkout flights.
• Manage certification activities for DO‑160 environmental, DO‑254 design assurance, and FCC requirements.

Required profile

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on RF testing and antenna range testing.
• Experience designing complex RF test systems and writing functional and environmental test plans.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and support system integration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers.
• Python scripting for test automation.
• RF circuit design experience up to 12 GHz.
• Knowledge of DO‑160 and DO‑254 hardware design assurance processes.
