Senior Electrical Engineer – RF Design

About the role

Join Reliable Robotics’ Radar Engineering team to design, build, and certify cutting‑edge phased‑array radar systems that enable Detect‑and‑Avoid capabilities for commercial aviation. You will work on advanced operational modes and help make aviation safer.

Key responsibilities

• Design digital and analog circuits, including high‑speed digital, RF up to 12 GHz, and power‑regulator (linear and switching) blocks.
• Develop multi‑processor FPGA‑on‑chip architectures with DDR4 memory, create schematics, layouts, and generate artwork.
• Own hardware bring‑up, testing, and certification to DO‑160, DO‑254, and FCC standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical and system engineering teams and support radar integration in labs and on aircraft.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (or higher) in Electrical, Aerospace, or related engineering.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with high‑speed digital, RF, and power‑regulator circuit design.
• Proven ability to use circuit simulators, Altium Designer, and SPICE tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and comply with U.S. export‑control requirements.

Required skills

• High‑speed digital design, DDR4, FPGA, multi‑processor systems.
• RF circuit design up to 12 GHz, PLLs, VGA, mixers.
• Power‑supply design (linear and switching regulators).
• Altium schematic capture and PCB layout, SPICE simulation.
• Use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers.
