Technical Program Manager – RF Systems

About the role

Quartermaster is looking for a detail‑oriented Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary RF engineering programs. You will coordinate hardware, software, manufacturing and operations teams to deliver ruggedized RF sensing systems on schedule and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Build the strategic roadmap and execution plan for RF sensing capability, translating customer needs and leadership goals into programs, milestones and resource decisions.
• Lead multiple RF product lines from prototype through production ramp and fielding, managing integrated schedules, critical paths and risk across hardware, embedded systems and software tracks.
• Manage contract manufacturers, design partners and component suppliers, overseeing builds, quotes, first articles, testing, long‑lead procurement and scaling to volume.
• Coordinate a blended team of employees and contractors, defining scope, tracking deliverables and holding partners accountable.
• Participate in technical design and test discussions, spotting risks, challenging assumptions and guiding trade‑off decisions for leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field, or equivalent hands‑on RF/hardware experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management, systems engineering or hardware engineering on RF, wireless or embedded products.
• Proven ability to deliver in ambiguous, low‑requirement environments by creating structure and ownership.
• Strong cross‑functional networking skills and ability to influence teams without direct authority.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, able to translate technical details for executive audiences.
