Field Service Professional

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, installing and servicing cutting‑edge smart home technology for customers in Ogden, UT. You will work independently while staying connected to a supportive team, delivering safe and connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat, automation systems, cameras and smart locks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on‑site.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Conduct onsite evaluations, recommend upgrades and generate additional earnings through uncapped commissions.
• Maintain quality, safety and installation standards while managing daily appointments and equipment.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass background, drug test and licensing requirements.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders and work in varied weather conditions.

Required skills

• Smart home system installation (security, thermostat, automation).
• Camera and smart lock installation.
• Technical troubleshooting of smart home equipment.
