Sports Medicine Sales Representative - Dallas/Fort Worth

About the role

Stryker, a global medical technology company, is hiring a field-based Sports Medicine Sales Representative for the Dallas/Fort Worth area. As the face of Stryker products, you act as a sales lead, educating doctors, nurses and staff on the use and maintenance of products and helping them choose the right equipment for the operating room or office.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lead sales pitches and demo meetings, and work with cross-divisional sales reps to set strategic goals and targets.
• Participate in trade shows, analyze the market territory and manage inventory reports.
• Negotiate prices and terms of transactions and solve product problems for customers.
• Educate and inform doctors, nurses and staff on product use and maintenance, and guide product evaluations in the operating room or office.
• Generate growth in sports medicine sales and train doctors on product usage.

Required profile

• 2-5 years of experience in an outside sales position (medical-related fields preferred).
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent of 5 years of commercial sales experience or medical field experience including operating room experience.
• Able to drive an automobile.
• Confident communicator, influential networker, strategic closer who exceeds quarterly sales quotas, trusted partner and competitive achiever.
