Sports Marketing Manager

About the role

Speedo is seeking a Sports Marketing Manager to lead its athlete and partnership strategy across North America. Based in our newly‑relocated Long Beach office, you will combine strategic leadership with hands‑on partnership management to drive brand relevance and commercial impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the North American athlete, NIL, federation, and university partnership strategy.
• Own the performance measurement of partnership investments, ensuring they deliver brand leadership and measurable commercial results.
• Act as a "player‑coach," managing day‑to‑day partnership activities while guiding senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with internal marketing, product, and sales teams as well as external partners and agencies.
• Maintain and grow relationships with athletes, sports federations, universities, and other key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sports marketing, partnership or athlete sponsorship management.
• Strong understanding of NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) and university sports ecosystems.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable partnership plans.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
