Speech Pathologist – Inpatient Rehabilitation

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Martin Health team in Stuart, FL is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join its inpatient rehabilitation unit. You will assess, diagnose, treat and prevent speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders across the lifespan.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and apply therapeutic techniques for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop, implement and revise individualized plans of care in accordance with physician referrals.
• Document progress, prepare reports and communicate findings to physicians and families.
• Perform voice evaluations, bedside swallow assessments and demonstrate competency with MBS‑Tech for adults and pediatrics.

Required profile

• Master’s, Doctorate or SLP‑D degree from an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program.
• Current Florida Speech‑Language Pathology license (or eligibility).
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA.
• Experience with inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
