About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join the Martin Hospital South outpatient rehab team. You will work alongside physical therapists to deliver therapeutic interventions for patients with functional limitations.

Key responsibilities

Implement patient treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Document each patient visit according to departmental policies.
Maintain and care for therapy equipment and ensure a clean, organized treatment area.
Assist with billing and ensure accurate charge capture for services rendered.
Support on‑the‑job training of ancillary staff and contribute to process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assisting program.
PTA license in the state of Florida.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Internship experience; aquatic rehab or acute‑care experience is preferred.

Required skills

Therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation.
Patient documentation and electronic health record entry.
Equipment maintenance and safety procedures.
