Speech Language Pathologist – Home Health

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a per‑diem, home‑health role serving adult and geriatric patients in Kittery, Wells, and Kennebunk, Maine. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to help clients remain safely at home.

Key responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients within the designated geographic territory.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans based on evaluations, physician orders, and client goals.
• Collaborate with BAYADA clinicians on multidisciplinary care plans.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic activities to promote health and independence.
• Accurately document all observations, interventions, and evaluations using a tablet‑based EMR system.

Required profile

• Current Maine license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA or equivalent education and experience pending certification.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
