Specialty Representative / Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health

About the role

Amgen is looking for a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for its Bone Health territory in eastern Oklahoma, covering Bartlesville, Broken Arrow, Claremore, Grove, McAlester, Muskogee, Owasso and Pryor. The representative is the primary customer contact, provides clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals and helps them navigate the payer environment, acting as the main link between the District Manager and customers. Relocation is not offered.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate the clinical benefits of Amgen products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Promote products and implement the marketing strategy set by the District Manager, reaching sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Manage accounts: customize interactions, ensure product access, resolve reimbursement issues and maintain product contracts.
• Give feedback on marketing strategy, analyze the effectiveness of sales activities and help build territory plans with the District Manager.
• Share best practices with colleagues and uphold Amgen's values.

Required profile

• Specialty Representative: bachelor's degree, or associate degree plus 4 years of sales experience, or high school diploma/GED plus 6 years of sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative: bachelor's degree plus 3 years of sales and/or non-sales clinical or scientific experience, or associate degree plus 6 years, or high school diploma/GED plus 8 years of sales and/or clinical experience.
• Preferred: experience in pharma, biotech, diagnostics, insurance, pharmacy, devices or supplies; product or hospital sales in areas such as oncology, cardiology, bone health, etc.; advanced relationship-building skills; local market knowledge; bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.

• Base salary of $89,880-$121,602 for Specialty Representatives and $115,036-$155,638 for Senior Specialty Representatives, depending on experience and qualifications.
