Specialty Lending Analyst or Associate (Denver)

About the role

LCG Advisors is looking for a motivated Analyst or Associate to join its Specialty Lending Group in Denver. The role provides direct exposure to institutional lenders, private credit funds, and banks, focusing on collateral and operational due diligence across diverse industries such as consumer finance, healthcare, and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial and operational due diligence, including on‑site or remote examinations and portfolio reviews.
• Develop and use Excel‑based workpapers to execute scoped procedures for each project.
• Evaluate complex portfolios and credit structures within client‑defined scopes.
• Collaborate with senior team members to identify risks, reconcile financial data, and assess operational performance.
• Interact professionally with clients through calls, meetings, and email updates.
• Engage directly with subject companies, discussing business updates and scope‑related questions.
• Prepare comprehensive written reports summarizing findings, trends, and risk factors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (other degrees considered with relevant experience).
• Strong analytical curiosity and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines in a client‑service environment and manage overlapping projects.

What we offer

• Base salary $65,000‑$80,000 depending on level.
