Specialty Equipment Manager – Ophthalmic Clinical Equipment

About the role
Alcon is looking for a results‑driven Specialty Equipment Manager to promote and sell high‑value ophthalmic surgical equipment, including Voyager™ DSLT and Valeda® Light Delivery System, to clinics across the Fort Lauderdale area. This field‑based position focuses on building strong relationships with physicians, technicians and administrators to drive revenue growth and improve patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct face‑to‑face sales of Voyager™ DSLT and Valeda® Light Delivery System in specialty and general ophthalmic clinics.
- Promote treatment packages linked to the equipment to maximize account value.
- Develop workflow strategies that increase productivity and consumable pull‑through.
- Identify strategic opportunities within accounts and execute tailored sales plans to exceed targets.
- Deliver product presentations, proposals and hands‑on demonstrations highlighting clinical and economic benefits.
- Provide post‑sale training, support and ongoing customer service.
- Collaborate with marketing, clinical specialists and service teams to reinforce promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in Salesforce.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in ophthalmology or capital equipment.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
