About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Specialized Tax Services team, focusing on energy incentives and tax credits. In this position you will advise clients on complex tax matters, help them navigate regulations, and optimize their tax positions in niche areas such as accounting methods and research & development credits.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide specialized tax advice on accounting methods, fixed‑assets, and R&D tax credits.
  • Analyze complex tax structures and model scenarios to support client recommendations.
  • Interpret tax legislation and policy to guide compliance and strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional growth.
  • Uphold firm‑wide professional and technical standards, including independence requirements.

Required profile

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of relevant tax experience.
  • Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
