Specialist III Process Standards & Training

About the role

Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of the global food retailer Ahold Delhaize, is hiring a Specialist III Process Standards & Training for its Continuous Improvement & Training function in Carlisle, PA. The role develops, communicates and publishes commercial technical and functional training programs, manages training completion, onboards new associates and acts as a link between competency development, onboarding, process standards and cross-brand support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain role-specific training plans, processes and standards, including manuals and training resources, and enhance course content for adult learners.
• Develop courseware, including interactive multimedia instruction.
• Ensure training programs follow control guidelines, including readiness planning for major process or system changes.
• Lead governance of training content, including version control, cross-brand alignment and integration with enterprise competency models.
• Serve as process documentation lead for assigned areas, guiding SOP development, standard updates and process mapping.
• Maintain SharePoint sites, Knowledge Center and other documentation repositories.
• Manage onboarding learning and process for new associates, including training sessions and coordination with hiring managers and subject matter experts.
• Act as cross-brand training and process liaison, coordinate training needs and validate SOP changes for training impact.
• Support training events logistically and recommend metrics to measure training results.
• Establish change interventions using PROSCI methodology where needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years managing cross-functional training and process improvement initiatives, process standards and onboarding solutions.
• PROSCI certification or willingness to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to run a project from planning through execution, influence without authority and build relationships with all levels of leadership.

Required skills

• Use of the ADDIE process and Adobe Captivate or similar development platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, LMS and Excel.
• Preferred: Master's degree in education or OD, knowledge of grocery retail, expert knowledge of Adobe Captivate and experience leading broad training initiatives.

What we offer

• Flexible hybrid schedule: 3 in-person days at a core location and 2 remote days; core office in Hyattsville, MD.
• Salary range of $106,480-$159,720 for IL/MA/MD/NY positions.
