Special Event Cashier for Campus Parking

About the role

This temporary position supports Transportation Services by managing parking lot entrances and providing guidance to customers during major campus events, including all Texas A&M home football games.

Key responsibilities

• Collect tickets or cash from customers at designated event parking lots and allow entry.
• Answer parking‑related questions and direct patrons to appropriate areas.
• Stand for long periods and work in all weather conditions during event hours.
• Follow safety procedures and wear any required protective equipment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Friendly, courteous demeanor with strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work cooperatively, and follow instructions.
• Availability to work all A&M home football games and flexible shift times from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
