Landmark Hospitality is seeking an ambitious, high‑energy lead line cook to join the team at Felina Restaurant in Ridgewood. This entry‑level Sous Chef position bridges line execution with foundational kitchen leadership, preparing you for a future Head Chef role.

Key responsibilities

• Run the line during peak hours, ensuring consistency, presentation, and ticket times meet high standards.
• Assist the Executive Chef with daily inventory counts, ingredient ordering, and quality control of incoming prep work.
• Lead, train, and support line cooks, prep cooks, and stewards.
• Maintain strict health department regulations, cleanliness, and food safety standards across all stations.
• Collaborate on nightly specials and menu development as operational skills grow.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of high‑volume, scratch‑cooking line experience; shift lead or lead line cook preferred.
• Superior knife skills, precise protein cooking temperatures, and solid culinary technique foundation.
• Calm, collaborative attitude under high‑pressure service windows with strong communication and time‑management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary arts degree or certification is a plus.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.
