Restaurant Host for Upscale Venue

About the role

Landmark Hospitality is looking for an experienced Host to be the first point of contact for guests at the iconic Felina Restaurant in Ridgewood, NJ. You will manage reservations, seating, and guest flow to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Take and organize lunch and dinner reservations on the seating chart.
• Greet guests, seat them, provide menus, and ensure comfort.
• Balance guest distribution across servers and maintain the seating chart throughout the shift.
• Manage waitlists, take drink orders, and direct guests to the bar as needed.
• Assist with table rearrangements for large parties and support opening/closing duties.
• Address customer concerns, report issues to the manager, and attend staff meetings.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and stamina for standing/walking all shift.
• Patience and politeness when handling frustrated guests.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and 4‑5 shifts per week.
