Solutions Architect III

About the role

ExtraHop's Solutions Architecture team focuses on customer success and outcomes rather than billable hours. As a Solutions Architect III, you will help solve the most difficult business and technology problems across many industries and technologies, working remotely for the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer network topologies and application stacks and develop strategies to acquire high-value data from the wire
• Profile industry-specific applications across verticals and create technical assets and written collateral for product improvement and marketing
• Conduct root cause analysis of high-profile technology problems and advise customers on resolution
• Develop custom tools using Python and JavaScript-based APIs to extend the ExtraHop platform
• Build customized data analysis and real-time monitoring, and create data visualizations for investigations
• Create automated tools to streamline repeatable processes
• Run hands-on learning sessions with key customer personnel

Required profile

• 6-8 years of relevant experience
• BS degree or equivalent
• Customer-facing experience and excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written communication skills
• Independence, motivation and desire for practice ownership

Required skills

• Core networking principles (OSI layers 2 through 4) and protocols (HTTP, SQL, CIFS/NFS, HL7, Memcache, DNS)
• Familiarity with web applications, databases, caching and distributed systems
• Scripting with Python and JavaScript

• Salary of $150,000 - $163,000 per year, with a discretionary performance bonus and stock option grants
