Software Test Automation Engineer III (SQA)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation and Agile development to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software products. The role involves designing test strategies, leading testing efforts, analyzing defects, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test suites for new features, enhancements, integrations, and system changes.
• Develop and refine test strategies, test plans, standards, and procedures to support repeatable quality processes.
• Analyze test outcomes, defect patterns, and system behavior to identify quality risks and drive corrective actions.
• Lead or guide software test projects, including automation efforts, and expand automated test coverage.
• Participate in Agile activities such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, and test estimation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience in software quality assurance within a professional development environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks, automated test design, and execution.
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.

• Test automation frameworks (e.g., Python‑based tools)
• Gherkin for test scenario writing (preferred)
• SmartBear TestComplete (preferred but not required)
• Functional, regression, integration, system, and end‑to‑end testing
