Software Engineering & Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineering & Operations Manager to lead the trinamiX team in Austin, Texas. The role combines technical leadership with responsibility for the day‑to‑day operations of our U.S. legal entity, driving the development of advanced sensing and biometric security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and champion the technical strategy to meet strategic goals, encouraging innovative thinking.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and raise the engineering quality across the team.
• Translate business and product requirements into high‑performance embedded C++ libraries and robust components for the biometric authentication platform.
• Lead, mentor and manage a cross‑functional group of 11 software engineers and data scientists, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing culture.
• Act as the site leader for the Austin legal entity, ensuring administrative and legal compliance.
• Oversee daily office operations, coordinating with headquarters to maintain alignment and communication.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading software development teams in an embedded or high‑performance environment.
• Strong track record of delivering complex C++ projects.
• Ability to manage both technical and operational aspects of a growing U.S. entity.
• Excellent communication skills to align engineering work with business objectives.
