Software Engineer (SWE-2) - SWaT Mission

About the role

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer for its Space, Weapons, and Technical Intelligence (SWaT) mission within the Intel Sector. The engineer works with mission stakeholders, developers and analysts to automate tradecraft and technical solutions that give immediate operational impact to mission workflows. The program focuses on rapid prototyping, new development and advanced technology research, from visualizations to analytic development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph; required to be considered.

Required skills

• Python and C++ programming (C++ is a must).
• Software engineering principles, including sprint planning (Agile), unit tests and portable, deployable code.
• Jira, GitLab and Docker.
• NiFi, Kubernetes, AWS and CDK are desirable.
