Software Engineer - New Grad

About the role

Stord is looking for a new‑graduate Software Engineer to join its fast‑growing engineering team at the Atlanta headquarters. This is an in‑person role where you will work closely with operations, walk the warehouse floor, and see the impact of your code in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end, from API design through UI implementation, on core product domains.
• Deploy your code to production and monitor its behavior in a live environment.
• Write tests that capture real failure scenarios and ensure reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and incorporating feedback.
• Develop a working knowledge of event‑driven systems, asynchronous workflows, and distributed services.
• Collaborate daily with senior engineers and use the proximity as a learning opportunity.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset; ability to learn quickly and think critically.
• Full‑stack fundamentals: comfortable querying databases and working with front‑end styling.
• Experience with at least one backend programming language.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative codebases.
• Habit of writing meaningful tests.
