Software Engineer, New Grad (AI)

About the role

As a New Grad AI Engineer at Notion, you will help shape core user experiences and accelerate the discovery of value in Notion’s AI‑powered workspace. You will work on cutting‑edge features that leverage large language models, embeddings, and other AI technologies to make the product more intelligent and capable.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with your team to prototype and ship AI‑powered product improvements.
• Own a scoped productionisation project: integrate a new model or technique, add monitoring and guardrails, and improve latency, cost, or reliability.
• Contribute to evaluation and iteration loops by building or extending evaluation sets, running experiments, analysing results, and translating learnings into product or system changes.
• Potentially work on AI product engineering, model & systems engineering, or evaluation & quality, depending on team alignment.

Required profile

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Available to start full‑time before July 27, 2026.
• Previous internship experience.
• Working towards proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Typescript, React, or Python.
