Software Engineer

About the role

Rainforest is an early‑stage payments‑as‑a‑service startup building a platform that enables small‑to‑mid sized software platforms to embed payments. As a Software Engineer you will help create rock‑solid payment products that process billions of dollars in transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale SaaS APIs and web applications using Go, Vue, and AWS.
• Ensure high availability, security, and reliability of the payment platform.
• Collaborate with product, operations, risk, and finance teams to turn product visions into reality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a software developer, preferably in SaaS, payments, or technology companies.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with ability to work in an agile, cross‑functional team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent work experience.
