Software Engineer

About the role

Autopilot is looking for a full‑time Software Engineer to join its NYC office in Union Square. You will work on the core systems that power real‑time trade execution for millions of investors, owning the features you build from design to production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack components using TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Design, implement, and operate cloud‑based services on GCP or AWS.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of trade execution pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams to deliver features quickly.
• Write automated tests and troubleshoot production issues.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong drive, ambition, and a proven track record of rapid execution.
• Ability to work on‑site and contribute to a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Strong TypeScript and GraphQL experience.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform or AWS).
• Solid computer‑science fundamentals and back‑end web development knowledge.
• Proficiency in object‑oriented design, testing, and debugging production‑grade systems.
