Software Engineer, iOS/Mobile

About the role

Beacon AI Inc. is seeking an iOS/Mobile Software Engineer to build mission‑critical applications that improve flight safety and operational efficiency for Department of Defense and commercial airline partners. You will work on a fast‑moving hybrid team, delivering real‑time, user‑facing features with Swift and SwiftUI.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI and modern mobile frameworks.
• Integrate internal and external APIs to provide real‑time flight data and sensor information to pilots.
• Develop real‑time data visualisation components for safety‑critical environments.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product designers to create intuitive mobile experiences.
• Maintain code quality, testing, and performance optimisation for production releases.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen or Green Card holder) and residence within commuting distance of San Carlos.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort with asynchronous programming.
