Software Engineer – Full Stack (Onsite)

About the role

John Deere is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Ag & Turf team in East Moline, IL. You will work on an agile product team that supports manufacturing, delivering moderately complex functionality through design, coding, testing, and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate work within an agile product team.
• Write, test, and review code to deliver new features.
• Develop designs for well‑defined problems and assign tasks to support personnel.
• Identify root causes of issues and apply reliability and test‑engineering practices.
• Monitor system performance, improve documentation, and enhance processes.
• Lead the development and deployment of innovative solutions and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience in web or full‑stack development.
• Strong coding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
