About the role

Join Paces' fast‑growing engineering team in Brooklyn to help accelerate renewable‑energy infrastructure development. You will collaborate closely with power‑industry experts to build AI‑driven automation that shortens the path from siting to construction‑ready projects.

Key responsibilities

• Gain deep domain knowledge of renewable‑energy permitting and siting processes.
• Design and implement AI agents that automate early‑stage due diligence.
• Develop end‑to‑end features, from data ingestion to user‑facing interfaces.
• Scale the platform to handle increasing traffic and data volume.
• Work hand‑in‑hand with product managers to shape the roadmap.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building data‑intensive software in production.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and comfort working both independently and in a team.
• Bias toward action, able to thrive in an ambiguous, fast‑moving startup environment.
• Passion for climate impact and renewable‑energy technology.

Required skills

• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and SQL.
• Full‑stack development experience (frontend, backend, database).
• Experience with AI/ML integration or building automation pipelines.
