About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, reliable systems that power core product workflows.
• Ship high‑quality code that balances speed with technical rigor.
• Own uptime, observability, and performance, proactively identifying and resolving reliability risks.
• Leverage cutting‑edge AI to create intuitive clinician and patient experiences.
• Conduct thoughtful code reviews and provide technical mentorship to raise engineering standards.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, ambitious, and capable of tackling a large, meaningful problem.
• Ownership mindset with a long‑term focus on business and customers.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, autonomy, and rapid iteration.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience building production systems.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to work onsite in NYC.

Required skills

• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience building LLM‑powered applications or similar AI‑driven systems.
